Site rules

KeyVault gives away free game keys. There are only so many, so these rules keep it fair for everyone. You agree to them when you create an account, and they apply every time you use the site.

Your account

• One account per person. Don't create extra accounts, and don't use someone else's account, to get more keys.
• A Discord account has to be at least 60 days old before it can claim keys.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• You must be at least 13, and old enough to have a Discord account where you live.

Claiming keys

• Keys are for you to play. Don't sell them, trade them for money or claim them for someone else.
• Don't use bots, scripts or other automated tools to claim keys or to read the site.
• Don't try to get around the monthly limit, a waiting time, a pause or a ban, for example with another account, a VPN or another network.
• Keys are donated and given out as they are. Now and then one turns out to be used already or locked to a region. Report it from My Keys and we'll replace it if we can, but we can't promise that every key works.
• If you contribute keys, only send keys that are yours to give away.

How we deal with abuse

We look out for signs of abuse, such as many accounts on one network, brand-new Discord accounts or claims that look automated. If we believe an account breaks these rules, our staff can:

• pause claiming on the account for a while,
• lower how many keys it can claim,
• ban the account, or
• block a network (IP address) from signing in and claiming.

A person on our staff makes these decisions; nothing is paused or banned automatically. We may act without warning first, and when several accounts clearly belong together we may act on all of them. When claiming is paused, you see until when the next time you try to claim.

Changes

• We can change these rules. After a real change we'll show a notice and ask you to read them again.
• We can change or stop the giveaway, or close accounts, at any time. The site is free and comes without guarantees.
